Silverwing Middle East attended the 5th Middle East NDT Conference & Exhibition in Bahrain with special guests Rudolph Nel from Silverwing Africa, Ankit Vajpayee from Russell Technologies India Pvt and Dr David Alleyne from GUL.
On display was our range of NDT inspection products including live displays of the:
FloormapVS2i MFL tank floor mapping system,
RMS high speed C-scan imaging system,
R-scan Lite manual B-scan imaging system,
Z-scan manual C-scan imaging system,
ToFD Lite imaging system,
GUL’s Wavemaker Pipe Screening System,
Russell Technologies Tube CAT Wall Crawler Inspection system and their Wrapmaster pipe repair system.
The conference was a major success with over 500 delegates attending from all over the middle east region including but not limited to Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran and Syria.
The trade show was made up of 72 exhibitors with a mixture of both NDT inspection companies and NDT equipment manufactures with more that 30% having multiple booths.
His Excellency Dr Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza Minister for Oil & Gas Affairs in Bahrain who personally expressed interest in our business and support to Bahrain Oil & Gas industry where we are providing both MFL and Auto UT crawler inspection services to BAPCO via our local business sponsor Corner Tech Industrial Services (CTIS).
He was also supported by Mohammad A. Salih, Saudi Arabia ASNT Vice Chairman & Saudi Aramco Oil Co employee as well as other senior personnel from the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE).
There was an excellent turn out with more than 100 visitors to our stand within the three days. Even with 5 representatives on the stand and were hard pushed to keep up with the number of visitors and run out of promotional literature early on the final day.
There was great interest in our NDT products especially our Computerised Corrosion Detection, Sizing and Mapping System the FloormapVS2i, our latest High Speed Automated Ultrasonic C-Scan Imaging System the RMS and in the unique Eddy current twisted tube inspection system from RNSI.
